Stephanie began her career in 2010 with the Los Angeles Police Department, where she worked patrol in the communities of Pacoima then Watts. In 2015, she earned a position as a tactical support team member of the elite Metropolitan Division where her duties included violent crime suppression, high-risk surveillance & warrant service, crowd management/riot control, dignitary/officer protection, counter-assault teams, anti-terrorism/active shooter response, and natural disaster evacuation and recovery efforts.

In 2017, she lateraled to her current agency where she is currently assigned as an Acting Patrol Sergeant. Her duties include or have included: patrol, Field Training Officer, Drone Operator, Firearms Instructor, Less Lethal Instructor, TASER Instructor, Force Option Simulator Instructor, Mobile Field Force Instructor, dignitary protection, Department Range Master/Lead Firearms Instructor.

As a California POST certified instructor, Stephanie teaches firearms to in-service personnel at her agency as well as in-service personnel and academy recruits at a nearby regional sheriffs academy.

​

She had the privilege of teaching at the Texas Tactical Police Officer's Association 2023 SWAT Conference in Round Rock, TX and the 2023 Sisters of Law Enforcement (S.O.L.E.) Summit in Nashville, TN.

 

She has trained with law enforcement agencies at the local, state, and federal level. She is a POST certified firearms instructor (handgun, shotgun, rifle, red dot sight, single action pistol) and has attended the FBI Firearms Instructor Course, LAPD Handgun Instructor Training School (HITS), Modern Samurai Project RDS Instructor Course, Sig Sauer Academy Pistol Mounted Optics Instructor Course, and Santa Paula PD Firearms Instructor and Rifle Instructor Course.
 

Stephanie is a life-long student and continues to train regularly to improve herself and others. She's trained with instructors such as Scott Jedlinski, Tim Herron, AJ Zito, JJ Racaza, Travis Haley, Donovan Moore (Point 1 Tactics), Joe Farewell (Farewell Firearms), Frank Proctor, Scott Reidy (Sig Sauer Academy), Aaron Barruga (Guerrilla Approach), Johnny Primo (Courses of Action), Drew Estell (Baer Solutions), Daminh Tran/Chandler Rosman (2 Alpha Training Group), and Gabe Rivera (Mindset Tactical Solutions).

Stephanie is on the Raven Wing Limited instructor cadre and represents Team Raven Wing in competition in USPSA, IDPA, ICORE, law enforcement and GSSF matches. 

​

She holds armorer certifications from Staccato, Glock, Smith and Wesson, and Colt. 

​

 

Josh is a Patrol Sergeant with 16 years of experience at a large southern California Sheriff's Department. Josh previously worked as a Deputy in the jails and on patrol. In 2015, he was able to join his love for firearms and law enforcement as a full-time Firearms Instructor and Lead Rifle Instructor. He left the Firearms Training Unit in 2022 for a promotion to the rank of Sergeant but still teaches in-service and academy personnel at the regional training academy.

Josh is a POST certified firearms instructor (handgun, shotgun, rifle, red dot sight, single action pistol) and has attended the FBI Firearms Instructor Course, LASD Firearms Instructor School (top shot), Modern Samurai Project RDS Instructor Course, and the Sig Sauer Academy Pistol Mounted Optics Instructor Course. 
 

Josh has trained with instructors such as Scott Jedlinski, Tim Herron, AJ Zito, JJ Racaza, Jerry Barnhart,  Travis Haley, and Scott Reidy (Sig Sauer Academy).

​

Josh is an avid competitive shooter and participates in USPSA, ICORE, and law enforcement matches.

​

He holds armorer certifications from Staccato, Glock, Smith and Wesson, and Colt.
